Frame and Wheel ships electric, recumbent and tandem bikes

Frame and Wheel provides its ebay auction services to customers who want to sell electric bikes, recumbent bikes and tandem bikes. These bikes require a pallet to ship, and because of their size and weight, they must use freight service. The palletized Ultramotor A2B Metro pictured below weighs 168 pounds and ships on a framed heat treated pallet (for international shipping) designed and built by Gerrity Industries of Leeds, Maine. The crate was wrapped in stretch wrap, which is industrial strength Saran wrap. This covering keeps the bike dry, protects the bike and also allows the fork lift drivers to see the item and to thus be a bit more careful. The bike is strapped down to the pallet using ratchet straps,
Frame and Wheel uses a full size pick up to deliver the palletized bike to the freight depot. This requires help from at least one other person who is capable of doing some heavy lifting. The pallet is strapped down to the bed of the truck using ratchet straps and bungi cords. Using a pick up and a friend saves a lot on shipping costs for the buyer. Frame and Wheel is pleased to offer this service to individuals or bike shops who want to offer their electric, recumbent or tandem bikes to a world wide market. The bike below sold for $970 to a buyer in New Jersey.
