Frame and Wheel is auctioning a 2012 Guru Flite frame set on the Frame and Wheel eBay store. The frame set is from an independent bicycle dealer’s inventory of unsold cycling items. The frame set has never been built up. It has been on display. The frame set is being sold to create more room for new models. The frame set features Guru full carbon front fork, BB86 bottom bracket, tapered head tube (1 1/18 inch to 1 1/2 inch steer tube), asymmetrical top tube, oversized down tube, seat tube and chain stays, beautiful graphics and boutique Canadian frame set manufacturer provenance. The frame set as pictured weighs 4 pounds. The serial number on the bottom bracket reads FLITE_2012_02_037. No seat post included. Review of condition
The frame set is in excellent condition. It is clean and ready for build. There are no scratches, chips or flaking in the finish of the frame. There are no cracks, bulges, discolorations, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the frame. The rear triangle is in alignment with the centerline of the frame to within 3.0 mm (less than the width of two pennies). The rear derailleur hanger is straight and undamaged. The chain stay cable stop is riveted securely and clear of obstructions. The down tube cable stops are riveted securely and free of obstructions. There is no corrosion in the water bottle bolt holes. The water bottle cage bolts are not missing. The bottom bracket shell is not damaged or corroded. There are no cracks, bulges, discoloration, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the front fork. The crown race is not damaged. The cartridge bearings are not corroded or damaged. The cartridge bearings turn smoothly and the head set is complete. The seat clamp works properly.
