Frame and Wheel is auctioning an Easton Vista wheel set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The wheel set is from an independent bicycle dealer’s inventory of demonstration wheels. The wheels were used by customers for testing out bikes for fit and feel. They are being sold because the IDB no longer needs them. The wheels feature Easton alloy clincher rims, Easton hubs, 20 (F) / 24 (R) spoke count, 29 mm rim depth, 19 mm rim width, aluminum alloy straight gauge spokes, Easton skewers and Easton durability. The wheel set as shown weighs 4 pound 2 ounces (1.9 kg). The wheels are in good condition. They are clean and ready to ride. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The wheels are true and show less than 0.5 mm of lateral variation when placed in a truing stand. There are no dents or bends in the rims. There are no notches on the free hub body. There are no cracks in the hub shell. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hub. There is no corrosion on the nipples or on the hubs. There is no play in the hubs. The rim tape is not damaged. The skewers are straight and working properly. Frame and Wheel notes the following. The braking surfaces of the rim show light wear. The rear wheel shows vertical variation (a hop) of less than 0.5 mm when placed in a truing stand. There is an abrasion on a sticker on the front rim. An excellent set of training wheels for a bicycle set up for 650c wheels. Please note that these are 650c wheels! They will not run on a bike set up for 700c wheels!
