Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Zipp 303/404 wheel set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The wheels are from an individual’s inventory of cycling equipment. They were used for training. They have been in storage. They have never been crashed. The owner is selling them because they are no longer used. The wheels feature Zipp 88 front hub and Zipp 188 rear hub, 45 mm front rim depth and 58 mm rear rim depth, 20 mm rim width, adjustable hubs, Zipp titanium skewers and white on silver banner Zipp lettering. Review of condition

The wheels are in good condition. They are clean and they are ready to ride. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The rims are round and the wheels are true. There is no lateral or vertical variation in the rims when placed in a truing stand. There is no flexing, flaking or discoloration in the carbon rim or the carbon shell. There are no notches in the free hub body splines from a cassette. There are no cracks in the hub bodies. There is no play in the hubs. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hubs. There is no corrosion on the spokes, the nipples or on the skewers. The stickers are not peeling off. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 1 mm x 5 mm crack at the valve opening on the front wheel. The rims show wear from brake pads.

Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Zipp 303 / 404 wheel set will make and excellent choice for the cyclist or triathlete who seeks durable, practical and aero wheels for training and racing. Despite some signs of wear, the wheels are in good condition and have many hours of riding remaining in their aluminum alloy rims and and carbon rim walls.
