Frame and Wheel is auctioning a 2012 Zipp 900 Tubular Disc wheel on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The wheel was purchased new in 2012. The wheel was used for racing only. It has never been crashed. It was parted out from a time trial bike. The owner is selling it because it is no longer needed. The wheel features ABLC dimpled surface, 20 mm rim width, Zipp 182 disc hub, Zipp stainless steel skewer, installed Shimano free hub body, large valve opening and “Beyond Black” stickers. The wheel as shown weighs 2 pounds and 3 ounces (1.0 kg). The serial number on the rim reads 617674. No Zipp decals for valve hole included. Review of condition
The wheel is in very good condition. It is clean and ready to ride. There is no cracking, flexing, discoloration or flaking in the rim. There are no dents, punctures or scratches in the surface of the wheel. The wheel is true and round. The hub spins freely and the pawls are not loud. There is no play in the hub. There are no notches on the free hub body from a cassette. The skewer is straight and undamaged. The valve opening is undamaged. The stickers are on securely. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a light layer of glue on the rim. The braking surfaces of the rim show light wear.
