Frame and Wheel is auctioning a 2010 Cervelo frame set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The frame set was purchased new as built up bicycle in 2010. It was used for indoor and outdoor training. It has had only one owner. It has never been crashed. It was parted out in 2012. The owner is selling it because it is no longer needed. The frame set features 3T Funda Team front fork, Cervelo aero seat post and English thread bottom bracket. The frame features aero down tube, seat tube and seat stays, oversized chain stays, wishbone seat stay junction, internal top tube and down tube cabling, 1 1/8 inch steer tube, riveted front derailleur hanger for braze-on front derailleur, light weight, iconic S3 series design and appealing black, white gray graphics. The frame set as shown weighs 3 pounds 11 ounces (1.7 kg). The serial number on the bottom bracket reads SNS3C10G00405. The serial number on the front fork crown reads CF1435510F0511. Review of condition
The frame set is in very good condition. It is clean and ready for build. There is no road wear on the bottom of the down tube, on the chain stays, behind the seat tube or under the front fork crown. There are no cracks, bulges, discolorations, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the frame. The rear triangle is in alignment with the the centerline of the frame. The rear derailleur hanger is straight and undamaged. The chain stay cable stop is riveted securely and clear of obstructions. There are no obstructions in the cable openings on the top of the top tube. The cable stop sheath on the end of the top tube is not damaged and not obstructed. There is no corrosion in the water bottle bolt holes or around the cable stops. The bottom bracket shell is not damaged. The threads in the bottom bracket are not stripped or corroded. There are no cracks, bulges, discoloration, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the front fork. The crown race is not damaged. The cartridge bearings are not corroded or damaged. The cartridge bearings turn smoothly and the head set is complete. There are no cracks, bulges, discoloration, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the seat post. The seat clamp works properly and it is complete. The chain guard is glued on securely. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 5 mm x 10 mm area of scratches on the non drive side chain stay near the word Vroomen. There is a 1 mm x 8 mm scratch on the drive side chain stay near the bottom bracket shell. There is a 1 mm x 3 mm scratch on the bottom of the down tube under the é in Cervelo. There is wear around the front and rear drop outs. There is wear around the brake mounts. There is wear around the top of the seat tube from the seat post clamp. There is wear on the seat post from a saddle bag.

Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Cervelo S3 will make an excellent choice for the dedicated road cyclist who wants to upgrade to something light and aero. This frame set is in very good condition and shows immaterial signs of wear. It is a blank slate upon which the new owner can create his or her own masterpiece. Built up with a SRAM Red group set, Zipp 303 tubulars and a 3T bar and stem, the bicycle will be fast and light and it will have a classic Cervelo voice that channels the power and presence of the Norse God of cycling, Thor Hushvold. The new owner will relish the smooth and aero ride characteristics of the fully built up bike, its light weight and its original Cervelo provenance. An excellent opportunity to join Cervelo Nation.
