Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Reynolds Assault carbon clincher wheel set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The wheels are from an independent bicycle dealer’s inventory of wheel goods. The wheels are new. They have been on display. The have never been used. A cassette has never been installed. Tires have never been mounted. The wheels feature carbon clincher design, CTg braking system, Reynolds front and rear hub, 46 mm rim depth, 21 mm rim width, 20 (F) / 24 (R) spoke count, Reynolds stainless steel skewers, light weight and Reynolds provenance. The wheels as shown weigh 3 pounds 11 ounces (1.7 kg). Reynolds Cryo-Blue brake pads not included. Valve extenders, hex tool and instruction booklet not included. Review of condition

The wheels are in excellent condition. They are clean and they are ready to ride. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The rims are round and the wheels are true. There is no wear on the braking surfaces of the rims. There is no lateral or vertical variation in the rims when placed in a truing stand. There are no cracks, flexing or flaking in the carbon rim or the carbon shell. There are no notches in the free hub body splines from a cassette. There are no cracks in the hub bodies. There is no play in the hubs. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hubs. There is no corrosion on the spokes, the nipples or on the skewers. The stickers are not peeling off. The rim tape is not broken The skewers are straight and complete. Frame and Wheel notes an imperfection on the front wheel sticker.
