Frame and Wheel is offering a Pinarello Dolomite steel road bike on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The bicycle was purchased second hand in the late 80s. The first owner did not use it. The present owner used it for recreational riding. The owner is selling it because it is no longer needed. The frame set features Columbus Matrix steel tubes, Pinarello front fork, crafted lugs, new Ritchey Logic external cup headset (1 inch), Italian thread bottom bracket, surf foam green finish and Pinarello provenance. The bicycle features Shimano 105 crank set (172.5 mm crank arms with 53T/42T chain rings), Shimano Dura-Ace front derailleur, Shimano 105 Index shifting rear derailleur, Shimano 105 Index shift levers, Shimano freewheel (13-23), Shimano 105 brake set and brake levers, Shimano 105 pedals, 3T  stem with Pinarello lettering (13.5 cm), 3T handle bars (42 cm c-c) and Cherchi Nisi HR22 clincher wheels (700 x 23C) with Bontrager tires. The bicycle as shown weighs 22 pounds 12 ounces (10.3 kg). The serial number on the bottom bracket shell reads PP596. Stand over is 86.0 cm.. Review of condition

The bicycle is in very good condition. It is clean and ready to ride. The shifting is complete in all twelve gears. The brakes activate and grip properly. The pads are fresh. The cable housing is not cracked. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The rims are round. The wheels are true. There are no dents in the rims. There are no cracks in the hub bodies. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hubs. There is no corrosion on the skewers. The skewers are straight and complete. The tires hold pressure. The treads are not worn out. There are no dents, bends or bulges that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the frame. The rear triangle is in alignment with centerline of the frame. The rear drop outs align properly. The front drop outs align properly. The rear derailleur hanger is straight and undamaged. The front derailleur hanger is clamped-on securely. There are no dents bends or bulges that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the front fork. The steer tube does not show any cracks or bulges. The steer tube threads are not stripped. The crown race is secured firmly. The external cups are mounted securely and undamaged. The head set is complete. The head set bearings turn smoothly and are not corroded. The seat post binder is not damaged or corroded. The handlebars are not bent. None of the seat clamp parts are missing. 

Frame and Wheel notes the following. The stickers on the down tube and seat tube are cracked and worn. There is a 2 mm x 5 mm scratch on the drive side surface of the top tube. There is a 1 mm x 3 mm scratch on the surface of the drive side fork. There is an abrasion on the edges of the seat. The bar tape is faded and should be replaced. There is wear around the drop outs.
