Frame and Wheel is offering a Scott Plasma 3 Premium frame set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The frame set was purchased new in 2011. It was used for triathlons and for training. It has never been crashed. It has had only one owner. The owner is selling it because he has another bike to ride. The frame set features Scott Plasma 3 carbon front fork, Scott Plasma 3 carbon seat post, Profile Design stem (90 mm) and Press Fit BB91 bottom bracket. The frame set features full internal cabling, Di2 electronic shifting compatibility, replaceable rear derailleur hanger, horizontal rear drop outs, cutaway seat tube, aero down tube and seat stays, integrated head tube stem, integrated seat post clamp, charcoal finish and Scott Bikes cool. The frame set as shown weighs 4 pounds 15 ounce (2.2 kg). The frame serial number reads STR09D15610120031N. The front fork serial number reads STF05K10L1010020A. Review of condition
The frame set is in good condition. It is clean and ready for build. There are no cracks, bulges, discolorations, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the frame. The rear triangle is in alignment with the centerline of the frame. The rear derailleur hanger is undamaged. There are no obstructions in the shifting and brake cable openings. The seat tube cover plate bolts are not stripped. There is no corrosion in the water bottle bolt holes.. The bottom bracket shell is not damaged. The front derailleur hanger rivets are not damaged and attached securely. There are no cracks, bulges, discoloration, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the front fork. The crown race is not damaged. There are no cracks, bulges, discoloration, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the seat post. The seat clamp works properly and it is complete. None of the bolts on the stem are missing and they are not stripped.
Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 2 mm x 10 mm abrasion on the drive side top tube. There are six 1 mm x 4 mm abrasions near to it.There is a 4 mm x 10 mm abrasion on the top of the top tube. There is a 1 mmx 50 mm abrasion on the drive side head tube. There is light wear on the side of the non drive side head tube. There is a 5 mm x 5 mm abrasion on the side of the non drive side top tube near the seat post binder. There is a 3 mm x 45 mm area of abrasion on the drive side seat tube near the water bottle mount. There is a 4 mm x 15 mm abrasion on the top of the non drive cutaway. There is a 3 mmx 30 mm abrasion on the inside surface of the non drive side chain stay. There is a 2 mm x 10 mm abrasion on the inside surface of the drive side chain stay. There is light wear on the back of the seat tube. There is wear around the seat post clamp. There is wear around the rear drop outs. There is wear on the seat tube cover plate.
