Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Shimano 105 FD-5501 front derailleur double on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The derailleur has been in storage and is being sold because the owner is clearing out his basement of cycling equipment. The derailleur is clamp-on (31.4 mm diameter) bottom pull and is designed for a double crank set. The derailleur is in good condition. It is clean and it works properly. The chain guide is straight. The clamp bolt is not missing. The limit screws are work properly and are not stripped. There is no corrosion. Frame and Wheel notes that the cable fixing bolt is missing. The item is being sold as is. A perfectly good front derailleur that has a fine future on a road bike or a cyclocross bike.
