2011 Avid Shorty Ultimate cantilever rim brakes pair black MTB cyclocross
Frame and Wheel is auctioning a pair of Avid Shorty Ultimate brakes on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The brakes were parted out from a cyclocross bike. The brakes feature cantilever design, quick release, black finish and Avid Shorty Ultimate functionality and durability. The brakes are in good condition. They are clean and ready for installation. The pivot springs are undamaged and working properly. None of the cable bolts are stripped or missing. The cable adjusters are complete and working properly. There is no corrosion on the springs or on the bolts. The brake wear indicators show 4 mm of pad remaining. Frame and Wheel notes that one of the pivot washers is missing. A fine opportunity to obtain one of Avid’s most popular cantilever brake sets for a cyclocross or mountain bike build.
