2010 Ridley X-Fire carbon cyclocross frame 4ZA fork English BB nude cantilever
Frame and Wheel is auctioning a 2010 Ridley X-Fire cyclocross frame set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The frame set was purchased new in 2010. The frame set features cyclocross geometry, cantilever brake mounts, top tube and seat stay external cabling with alloy cable stops, tapered head tube (1 1/8 inch to 1 1/2 inch steer tube), flat bottomed top tube, oversized down tube, oversized chain stays, oversized wishbone seat stays, nude carbon finish, 4ZA Oryx carbon cyclocross front fork and Belgium cyclocross cool. The frame set as shown weighs 4 pounds 9 ounces (2.1 kg). The serial number on the bottom bracket reads 314014. The serial number on the steer tube reads FM09101678. There are 110 images of the frame set on Frame and Wheel’s Flickr page. Please take a look.

Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Ridley X-Fire cyclocross frame set will make and excellent choice for the road cyclist who seeks a full carbon cyclocross frame set for the 2013 season. It will also suit the experienced cyclocross rider who prefers cantilever brakes and seeks a frame set to build up into a “B” bike. The frame set iwas well maintained by the owner and it is in very good condition, with signs of wear that are immaterial for cyclocross. Built up with Reynolds Assault carbon tubulars with Challenge Grifo 32 tires, SRAM Red group set and Ritchey handle bars, the frame set will become a very light cyclocross bicycle with a voice that speaks fluent cyclocross with a heavy Flemish accent. The new owner will relish the light weight of the built up bike and appreciate the open geometry and oversized tubes of the frame that allow it to be so easily carried up and over those irritating barriers and run-ups. An excellent opportunity to obtain one of Ridley’s most popular and versatile cyclocross frame sets.
