2012 Campagnolo Bora Ultra Two carbon tubular wheel set 50mm rim red silver lettering
Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Campagnolo Bora Ultra Two carbon tubular wheel set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The wheels were purchased new in January 2012. They were used on a road bike. They have never been raced. They have never been crashed. The wheels have less than 1,000 miles of use. The owner is selling the wheel set because he has another pair of wheels and he no longer needs these wheels. The wheels feature 50 mm rim depth, Campagnolo carbon hubs, oversized drive-side flange, G3 Geometry lacing on the rear wheel, aero steel spokes, red and silver lettering, light weight and Campagnolo cool. The wheels as shown weigh 3 pounds 2 ounces (1.4 kg). The serial number on the front rim reads 309082/D-051. The serial number on the rear rim is illegible. Campagnolo free hub body! Requires Campagnolo brake pads (not included). Includes Campagnolo wheel bags. There are 75 images of the wheel set at Frame and Wheel’s Flickr page. Please take a look. Please see the Frame and Wheel website for more information about the company and the service.

Review of condition
The wheels are in very good condition. They are clean and they are ready to ride. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The rims are round and the wheels are true. There is no variation when placed in a truing stand. There are no cracks, flexing, flaking or discoloration in the carbon rim or the carbon shell. There are no marks in the free hub body splines from a cassette. There are no cracks in the carbon hub body. There is no play in the hubs. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hubs. There is no corrosion on the spokes, the nipples or on the skewers. The stickers are not peeling off. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 1 mm x 50 mm scratch on the “L” in Campagnolo sticker on the front wheel. There is a light layer of glue on the rims. The braking surface of the rims show light wear.

Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that these Campagnolo Bora Ultra Two wheels will make an excellent choice for the dedicated road cyclist who favors Campagnolo components, appreciates the ride characteristics of tubular tires and seeks to upgrade to a light, fast and versatile set of tubular racing wheels. The wheels are in very good condition and show immaterial signs of wear. They are effectively new. These wheels will result in an immediate weight and speed advantage and they will complement nicely the Italian voice of a Colnago C-50 or Pinarello Dogma 2. The new owner will relish the light weight and feel of these wheels and may never bother to take them off. An excellent and rare opportunity to obtain a pair of some of the finest wheels on the market today.
