It was used for fair weather training and in one race in 2011. It has been in storage since the beginning of 2012. The frame set was never crashed. It was professionally maintained at Center Street Cycles in Brunswick, Maine. The owner is selling the frame set because he has another bike to ride. The frame set features Easton EC90 SLX front fork, FSA headset, unique t-shaped top tube, ovalized down tube, wishbone seat stays, internal cabling on the top tube and down tube, integrated seat clamp, carbon drop outs and distinctive “cut-out” between seat post and top tube. Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that this BMC Pro Machine SLC01 frame set will make an excellent choice for the taller rider who seeks something very light and stiff. The frame set is in very good condition and it is a blank canvas on which the new owner can create a very light racing bike. Alternatively, the new owner can build up the frame set with SRAM Red and Easton carbon wheels to recreate the bicycle that Cadel Evans used to win the Tour de France in 2011. Either way, the frame set has been gently used and still has many more hours of racing and training in its distinctive carbon tubes. An excellent and rare opportunity to obtain a very nice frame set.
