Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Shimano Ultegra compact crank set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The crank set was purchased new in May 2011 and installed on a time trial bicycle. The arms were too long and thus the crank set was switched out after one week. The crank set has been in storage ever since. The owner is selling the cranks because she does not need them. The crank set features compact gearing, a hollow outer chain ring and the new gray finish. The crank set is in very good condition. It is clean and shows only light wear. The chain rings are not bent and the teeth are not chipped or broken.  All the chain ring bolts and crank arm fixing bolts, caps, rings and washers are included. The bolt holes for the pedals and the crank arms are not stripped. The splines are not stripped or damaged. There is no corrosion anywhere on the cranks set. Frame and Wheel notes the following. The finish on the chain ring teeth has worn off. There is some wear on the axle. Compact cranks are like air conditioning: once you try them you rarely go back. These cranks are effectively new and will be very useful to have as a primary crank set or as a back up for mountainous stage races. A rare and excellent opportunity. Shimano packaging.
