New Bontrager Race X Lite clincher alloy wheel set 700c 18/24 spoke

Frame and Wheel is auctioning a new Bontrager Race X Lite wheel set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The owner won the wheel set this summer in a lucky draw contest arranged by Cyclemania in Portland, Maine. They have never been installed or used and they have been sitting in their original boxes in a dry basement. The owner is selling them because he does not need them. The wheels feature black anodized scandium rims, white bladed spokes, radial lacing on the front wheel (18 spokes) and one-cross lacing on the rear wheel (24 spokes), rim depth of 25 mm, Bontrager RXL hubs and Bontrager skewers. The wheels as shown weigh a total of 3 pounds 8 ounces without skewers. The serial number reads 414135-02586 (F) and 414136-02195 (Rear). Skewers in original packaging with instructions are included.

Review of condition

The wheel set is in excellent condition. They are clean and they show no sign of use or wear. They are ready to ride. The wheels are true and round and they spin smoothly. The pawls are smooth and quiet. The braking surfaces are clean and smooth. The spokes are tight, straight and clean. There is no corrosion anywhere on the wheels. Frame and Wheel carefully and in good faith inspected this item but cannot guarantee that every imperfection has been spotted.

These are very nice wheels that will work well for training and racing. They are light and strong and the white spokes add some style.
