Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Shimano Ultegra RD-6500 8 / 9 speed rear derailleur short cage on the Frame and Wheel eBay store. The derailleur has been in storage and is being sold because its owner is clearing out his basement of cycling equipment. The derailleur is compatible with an 8 or 9 speed drive train. The derailleur is in good condition. It is clean and it works properly. The cage is straight and the spring tension is strong. The pulleys spin properly. The cable adjusting bolt and the cable fixing bolt are not missing. The B-axle bolt is not stripped. The limit screws turn properly. There is no corrosion. Frame and Wheel notes that there are some scratches on the body of the derailleur around the cable adjusting bolt. The item is being sold as is. A perfectly good derailleur that has a bright future on a cyclocross bicycle or a off season road bike.
