They have been in storage. The owner is selling the shoes because he no longer needs them. They have had only one owner. The shHydro GTXoes feature a neoprene upper that wraps around the ankle and keeps out water, a soft inner lining and Sidi craftsmanship. The shoes are in very good condition. They do not smell and they are clean. The bolt holes for the cleats are not stripped or corroded. The velcro straps work properly. There are no rips or tears in the upper. The heel is not worn. The bars have never been crashed and have been in storage. The owner is selling them because he no longer needs them and he is clearing out unused cycling equipment from his basement. Features include carbon base bar, carbon S-bend extensions, alloy arm pad rests with 5 adjustment settings, alloy brake levers and internal cabling. The bars as shown weigh 920 g. The serial number reads BA-23632. The aero bar is in good condition. It is clean and ready for installation. There are no cracks, chips, flaking or flexing in the carbon bars or the extensions. None of the bolts are stripped or corroded or missing. The pads adhere firmly to the velcro on the arm rests.  The velcro adheres firmly to the arm rests. The brake levers work properly. There is no adhesive left over from old bar tape. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There are abrasions on the base bar from the mounts for the extensions. There is wear around the bar center from the bar clamp. There is a 5 x 30 mm abrasion on the left edge of the base bar. The pads show wear and epoxy used to repair the pads. A perfectly fine set of aero bars that will go very well on any time trial bike build.

Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Lightweight Standard Special Edition carbon tubular wheel set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The wheel set was purchased new at Pista Palace in San Diego California in 2009. The wheel set was used for racing and training in California and New England for two and half years. The wheel set has had only one owner. He is selling the wheel set because he is switching over to carbon clinchers. The wheels have never been crashed. They have always been stored indoors and transported inside a car. The wheels were sent back to Carbon Sports in Germany for repairs under the warranty program in December 2011. The rear wheel had about a dozen areas of damage (chips, cracks, flexing and flaking) in the rim from racing and training. Carbon Sports made the repairs and replaced the braking surface of the rim with an additional layer of carbon. The front wheel had a stain and a crack on the braking surface of the rim. Carbon Sports cleaned up the stain and made the repair. The wheels have not been used and the rims have not been glued since its return from Germany in February 2012. The wheel set as shown weighs 2 pounds 9 ounces (1.17 kg). The wheel set features Duraflon coated carbon spokes that are integrated with Duraflon coated carbon rims, v-shaped 53 mm deep rim shell, DT Swiss 240 rear hub, 16/20 spoke count, Campagnolo free hub body, built in magnet on front wheel, Lightweight titanium skewers and German engineering provenance. The owner is a bout 6 feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. Carbonsports wheel bag included (shipped separately). Lightweight brake pads not included in this transaction. Review of condition

The wheels are in very good condition. They are clean and they are ready to ride. There is no glue on the rims. The wheels are round and true. The spokes are tight. The bearings are smooth and the hubs are spinning freely and quietly. The free hub body is not notched and the pawls are quiet. The skewers are straight and complete. There is no corrosion in the hubs or on the skewers. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 2 x 2 mm chip in the Duraflon on a non drive-side spoke on the rear wheel. This spoke and the one it crosses are not straight. There is a 1 x 10 mm scratch on a non drive-side spoke of the rear wheel. There is wear around the valve opening on the rear wheel. There is a series of 1 x 1 mm scratches on the inside face of a non drive side spoke on the rear wheel. The “w” in the Lightweight lettering around the valve opening is faded. There is a 2 x 4 mm scratch on the end of a spoke near the valve opening on the front wheel. The carbon weave is showing through the Lightweight lettering on both the front and rear wheel. The free hub body shows some wear.

Frame and Wheel conclusion

Frame and Wheel’s view is that these are remarkably light and clearly very stiff aerodynamic wheels. They will suit the rider who demands the best in carbon wheel performance and who lives for the sprint. The wheels are newly repaired and ready for many more seasons of racing. The new owner will relish the light weight of these wheels and the excellent valuation at which they were obtained. A very rare and unique opportunity.
