Frame and Wheel is auctioning a Mavic Ksyrium SL Superlight wheel set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The wheels were purchased new in 2010. They were used on a cyclocross bike for racing and for training for two seasons. They have had only one owner. The owner is selling them because he no longer needs them. The wheels feature Mavic Ksyrium SL Superlight alloy clincher rims, Mavic Ksyrium SL front and rear hubs, bladed aluminum alloy spokes, 23 mm rim depth, 19 mm rim width, 18 (F) / 20 (R) spoke count, Shimano free hub body, Mavic durability and light weight. Review of condition
The wheels are in good condition. They are clean and they are ready to ride. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The rims are round and the wheels are true. There is no lateral or vertical variation in the rims when placed in a truing stand. There are no dents or bends in the rims. There are no notches in the free hub body splines from a cassette. There are no cracks in the hub bodies. There is no play in the hubs. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hubs. There is no corrosion on the spokes, the nipples or on the skewers. The rim stickers are not peeling off. The hub stickers are not peeling off. The skewers are straight and working properly. Frame and Wheel notes the following. The braking surfaces of the rim show wear. There is wear near the valve opening on the rear rim. The free hub body shows wear. The sticker on one of the rear wheel spokes is peeling off. The spoke nipples show wear. The rear skewer is not an original Mavic skewer.
