Frame and Wheel is auctioning a 2009 SRAM Rival crank set on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The crank set was mounted on Frame and Wheel’s cyclocross bike and has about 73 hours of cyclocross training and racing use. Frame and Wheel has upgraded to an Austro-Daimler Superleicht Ubercross Carbon and no longer needs the cranks. The crank set features compact gearing (36T / 46T) and 172.5 mm crank arms. The crank set is in fair condition. The teeth on the outer chain ring are worn and narrow. The teeth on the inner chain ring are worn. There is heavy wear and scratching on the drive side crank arm. There is some corrosion around the pedal bolt holes. Frame and Wheel highlights the following. The crank set is clean and ready for installation. The chain ring bolts are in place and not stripped. The spindle is straight and the threads are not stripped. The crank bolt threads are not stripped. There is no corrosion on the splines or the bearing race surfaces. The crank set is compatible only with Truvativ GXP cup sets only. A very practical compact crank set that with a pair of new chain rings will have a strong future on a cyclocross bike.
