Frame and Wheel is auctioning Guru Crono Alu time trial bicycle on the Frame and Wheel eBay Store. The bicycle was purchased new in 2005. The bicycle was used for two years in sprint triathlons and for training. It has about 700 miles of use. It has had only one owner. It has never been crashed. It has been stored indoors since 2007. The owner is selling the bicycle because he no longer uses it. The frame set features Dedadacciai aluminum tubing, Dedacciai Blackstream 70 carbon fork, FSA SL 280 seat post, English thread bottom bracket, integrated head set (1 1/8 inch), bladed seat stays, integrated seat post binder, bladed seat tube, aero down tube, distinctive blue finish and Guru provenance. Review of condition
The bicycle is in good condition. It is clean and ready to ride. The shifting is precise and complete in all eighteen gears. The brakes activate easily and grip well. There is 5 mm of brake pad. The hubs spin smoothly and freely. The spokes are tight and straight. The rims are round. The wheels show no lateral or vertical variation when placed in the truing stand. There are no dents in the alloy rims. There are no cracks in the hub bodies. There are no cracks in the flanges of the hubs. There is no corrosion on the spokes or on the skewers. The skewers are straight and complete. The tires hold pressure. The sidewalls are not cracked. The treads are not worn. 

There are no dents, bends or bulges that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the frame. There is no road wear on the bottom of the down tube or on the back of the seat tube. The rear triangle is in alignment with the centerline of the frame to within 3.0 mm (the width of two pennies). The rear drop outs are properly aligned. The seat clamp works properly and it is complete. The chain stay protector is attached securely. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 17 mm x 20 mm abrasion on the head tube. There is a 1 mm x 5 mm scratch on the drive side top tube. There is wear on the seat post from removal and installation. The front and rear drop outs show wear. The bottom of the water bottle is cut out and cannot be used for water. There is surface corrosion on the non drive side brake mount. The rear seat clamp mount cover is missing.

Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Cervelo P4 will make an excellent choice for the dedicated triathlete who wants to upgrade to a high performance aero frame set. This P4 is in very good condition and shows immaterial signs of wear. Built up with SRAM red components, Zipp Vuka aero bars, a Zipp 900 / 808 wheel set, the frame set will become a very fast time trial bike with a unique voice that speaks of Cervelo’s relentless determination to find ways to slip through the wind more efficiently. Although the P4 is no longer in production, this will not affect its capacity to deliver new revelations in the Race of Truth. An excellent and increasingly rare opportunity to obtain a Cervelo classic.
