Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Austro-Daimler Superleicht Carbon Di2 Champagne frame set will suit the performance cyclist who seeks to upgrade to a stiff and light frame set that is designed explicitly for electronic shifting. It might suit the masters category cyclist who raced an Austro-Daimler Superleicht thirty years ago and now seeks to relive the glory days of his golden youth. It may also suit the younger rider who seeks something competitive and current in terms of technology and weight, but with a classic European voice. Built up with Zipp 303 carbon tubular wheels, a Shimano Dura-Ace  Di2 7900 group set and 3T stem and bars, the bicycle will be light and fast with a distinctive voice that speaks of classic cycling with a contemporary accent. The new owner for a time will also be one of two riders in the world riding an Austro-Daimler Superleicht Carbon Di2 road bike in the distinctive and original Champagne finish. Frame and Wheel is very happy to have the company.

The wheel is in very good condition. It is clean and ready to ride. The hub spins smoothly and freely. The rim is round and true. There is no lateral or vertical variation in the rim when placed in a truing stand. There are no dents in the rim. There are no cracks, flexing, flaking or discoloration in the three carbon spokes. There is no play in the hubs. There is no corrosion on the hub body. There is no corrosion on the rim. The stickers are not peeling off. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 2 mm x 8 mm blemish on the braking surface of the rim. There is 2 mm x 15 mm imperfection in the clear coat finish on one of the spokes. There is a 4 mm x 25 mm stain on the clear coat near the hub. The carbon tape around the base of the hub shows bubbling and will benefit from some more glue. Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that this HED HD3 wheel will make an excellent choice for the road cyclist or triathlete who seeks an aerodynamic front wheel for the time trial bike. The wheel is in very good condition and shows immaterial signs of wear. The wheel will dramatically change the voice of any time trial bike and deliver an immediate speed advantage. Frame and Wheel notes the following. There is a 1 mm x 20 mm scratch on one of the Reynolds stickers on the front wheel. One of the Reynolds stickers on the front wheel has peeled back about 7 mm. One of the Reynolds stickers on the non drive side of the rear wheel is peeled back about 5 mm. There are abrasions on the base bar from the stem and the aero bar extensions. The bar tape has smudges. There is wear around the drop outs.

Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Quintana Roo CD0.1 Ultegra will make an excellent choice for the triathlon enthusiast who wants to move up from a road bike set up with clip ons and borrowed wheels to a real time trial bike with quality components, aero wheels and triathlon provenance. The bicycle is in very good condition and shows immaterial signs of wear. It is effectively a new bicycle with many hours of riding in its carbon tubes and rims. The bicycle has a cheerful voice that speaks of the warm temperatures of Cancun, Mexico, but the geometry of the frame, the integrated brakes and deep dish Reynolds Strike wheels clearly demonstrates that the bicycle has a serious side too. The new owner will be transformed by this bicycle and will find that the bike leg of the next triathlon goes by faster and with less effort. A fine opportunity to obtain a very nice time trial bike.
