The cable stops are riveted securely and clear of obstructions. The barrel adjusters work properly. There is no corrosion in the water bottle bolt holes. The bottom bracket shell is not damaged. The threads in the bottom bracket are not stripped or corroded. There are no cracks, bulges, discoloration, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the front fork. Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Time RXR Ulteam will make an excellent choice for the dedicated and taller road cyclist who loves to sprint and seeks something very light and stiff. The module weighs as much or less than traditional frame sets of similar size and the integrated seat post provides the stiffness that makes for excellent power transfer. The frame set module is very lightly used and a blank slate on which the new owner can create a masterpiece road bike. Built up with SRAM Red and Zipp 303 tubulars, the bicycle will be very light and fast and it will have a striking “red” voice that will inspire many hours of training and racing, and no doubt make a big impact on the next group ride. A rare and excellent opportunity to obtain one of the most unique frame set modules on the market today.

The frame set as shown weighs 3 pounds 1 ounce (1.4 kg). The Mavic serial number on the bottom bracket read 0953. The serial number on the front fork reads ST02K10006120012. Please see the Frame and Wheel website for more information about the service.

Review of condition
The frame set is in good condition. It is clean and ready for build. There are no cracks, bulges, discolorations, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the frame. The rear triangle is in alignment with the the centerline of the frame to within 2.0 mm (the width of a nickel). The rear derailleur hanger is straight and undamaged. The cable stops are riveted securely and clear of obstructions. There is no corrosion in the water bottle bolt holes. The bottom bracket shell is not damaged. The threads in the bottom bracket are not stripped or corroded. There are no cracks, bulges, discoloration, flexing or flaking that raise concerns about the structural integrity of the front fork. There is wear on the front derailleur hanger. There is road wear under the front fork crown.

Frame and Wheel conclusion
Frame and Wheel’s view is that this Scott CR1 will suit the road enthusiast who seeks to upgrade to a practical and light carbon frame, and who is not too picky about cosmetics. The frame set shows signs of wear and presumably has spent some time on the roof of a Mavic neutral support vehicle and in the Mavic shop before joining the previous and current owner. Nevertheless, the frame set is in good condition and ready to return to the road. The new owner will notice the frame’s light weight and will most likely be the only rider in the group on a yellow frame set, unless of course, Bradley Wiggins is on the ride too. A great opportunity to obtain a unique frame set at an attractive valuation.
